- Cooking oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup cornflour
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 2 Eggs
- 1 package of Licious Chicken Drumsticks
- 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
- Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Dried Oregano
- Chilli powder
- ¼ cup water
How to make
As the first step marinate the chicken drumsticks in pepper, salt, and vinegar. And keep it aside. Take a bowl and add flour, salt, and pepper, and keep it aside. Take another bowl and add water, eggs, and salt and then whisk it well. Take the marinated chicken and coat it in the flour mixture, and then in the egg mixture, and again coat it in the flour mixture.
Set it aside on the plate and let it dry for 5 minutes. Take the pressure cooker and add oil for deep frying. Take each drumstick and deep fry it for 20 to 45 seconds. Cover the pressure cooker and wait for 2 whistles. Switch off the flame and let it sit for 5 minutes. Lift the whistle carefully and release the pressure. Heat the chicken again after opening the cooker and fry it till the outer layer of the chicken gets crispy again. And then drain and serve it hot.
Super Crispy Triple-dipped Broasted Chicken
This dish is made in continental cuisine. It takes 15 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to cook.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp mixed herbs or Italian seasoning
- 3/4 cup cornflour
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup water
- oil as needed
- 1 Whole chicken/chicken drumsticks and thighs
- 1 tsp Black pepper powder
- 6 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
How to make
Take a bowl and mix buttermilk, minced garlic, pepper, and salt. Take the chicken and immerse it in to marinate and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it sit for about 12 hours.
Take another bowl and mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, pepper, chili powder, herbs, and salt. Take another bowl and whisk the egg and water together. Take the panko crumbs on a plate and add the mixed herbs and a pinch of salt to it.
Dip the marinated chicken in the flour mixture and dip it in the egg and finally in the panko crumbs mixture. Coat the chicken well and carefully put it in the cooker. Cover the pressure cooker and cook for about 1 to 2 whistles.
After 2 whistles, turn off the flame and let the cooker stand for 5 minutes. Release the pressure and open the lid. Switch on the flame again and fry the chicken for 8 to 10 minutes until it gets crispy. Drain the chicken on tissue paper to remove the excess oil.
Drizzle some hot sauce over the chicken and serve hot with mayo-dip and ketchup. You can use mac-n-cheese, fried, or mashed potatoes.
KFC-style chicken broast
- 6 Pieces chicken
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ Cup Corn Starch
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Salt
How to make
Take a bowl and add one egg, salt, black pepper, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and lemon juice. Beat all the ingredients and make a smooth paste. Add the chicken pieces and coat well. Marinate it for 1 hour. After 1 hour, start to coat.
Take a separate bowl and add all-purpose flour, and add corn starch to give it a crispy and crunchy texture of chicken. Add salt and black pepper and mix well to combine all the ingredients. coat the chicken pieces one by one. Coat it first with flour, and again with the mixture done for marination. And then again coat it in flour, to create a double layer to get a well crispy look.
After coating rests it for half an hour. You can even place the chicken in the fridge for 10 minutes. Then deep fry the chicken in hot oil, by placing it initially at the hot temperature and make sure that you don’t stir or move it. After it gets a hard texture fry it for at least 5 to 6 minutes on both sides.
Do not turn the temperature to medium even if you feel the chicken is getting hard. The chicken will get crispy and crunchy from the outside, and juicy from the inside. Fry it on both sides and take it in tissue paper to serve.
