Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” – Steve Jobs.

Steve Jobs was born on February 24th, 1955,  in San Francisco California to his biological parents, Abdul Fattah Jandali and Joanne Carole Schieble. His parents were immigrants, unwed, and were too young to take the responsibility of another human being so that they gave Steve Jobs for adoption almost immediately after he was born.

He was adopted by a working-class couple called Paul and Clara Jobs and so raised him under their responsibility, naming him as Steven Paul Jobs. this adopted father was a mechanic and he worked in his family garage taking apart cars and put them together, and so Jobs learned in his early days to pay attention to details from his father.

He was an intelligent and innovative person, but he was not happy with the school learning process, he used to play pranks in school due to his boredom and sometimes the teacher bribed him to study.

But Steve was mesmerized by the powers and details of computers, where at the age of 12, he called HP founder Bill Hewlett to ask for some electronic parts for a school project and Hewlett was so impressed with him and so offered him a summer internship and there he met Steve Wozniak.

As he didn’t enjoy school, he was an average student in high school and then he joined Reed College in Portland which was an expensive college, which Paul and Clara could ill afford and so spent much of their life savings on job’s higher education. But he dropped out in 6 months, and unofficially attended the classes that interested him such as Calligraphy. At that time he had a life of having no place to stay and slept on the floor in his friend’s place and sometimes returned bottles for 5 cents deposits to buy food, and he would walk seven miles across the town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Krishna temple.

He got a job at a company called Atari that manufactures video games and so he saved up and left his job later while heading to India with a friend for spiritual enlightenment.  He stayed there for 7 months, traveling in buses from place to place and he studied the eastern religion there and discovered his higher self.

He turned to psychedelic drugs to explore his mind further and he led a very simple life living in his parent’s backyard. But his diversified experiences and the counterculture concept, made him go towards his future ideologies, and so he started beginning his new phase in life.

At the age of 21 in the year 1976, Steve Jobs collaborated with his friend Steve Wozniak, starting the apple computer in the garage of his father. Jobs sold his Volkswagen bus and Wozniak sold his scientific calculator, to fund to began their jobs.

They initially started it with the Blue box, which was a wireless system that was used to make long-distance calls and so they started their first-ever apple machine.

They became successful and were credited to revolutionize the computer industry with Apple using the technology and made machines that are smaller, cheaper, and accessible to everyday consumers. A series of user-friendly personal computers were produced and marketed.

The Apple I earned a corporation around $774,000 and 3 years after the Apple II was released increasing sales by 700 percent to $139 million. It became a publicly traded company having a market value of $1.2 billion by the end of its very first day of trading. And Jobs made John Sculley of Pepsi cola take the role of CEO for Apple. Jobs was one of the youngest people who was included in the Forbes list of the richest people in the country.

But later, the products from Apple had flaws in designs and was resulted in consumer disappointments. And in sales, IBM dominated and excelled more than Apple. In 1984, Apple released Macintosh, which was a piece of counterculture lifestyle, but it was failed and had disappointing sales. And due to continuous failures, Jobs was pushed out of his own company in 1985.

Steve Jobs was devastated and disappointed with his failures, but later he realized that being fired from Apple was one of the best things that had happened to him, as he went on focusing on creativity and innovation. And so he built up being strong and established his new company the NeXT Computer Co, and set a classic example of attempting relentless efforts to reinvent himself to succeed.

But Apple company was not gaining success and continued to struggle, so Steve Jobs was invited to join them and so he merged NeXT with Apple and gave us the iOS which we are using today.

He was not still satisfied and wanted to build a bigger empire, and so he invested in a startup called Graphics Group, and now it is known as Pixar.  He invested millions and obtained instant success after the release of Toy Story that paid back Jobs, and so remained as a majority shareholder in Pixar.

Apple became really successful and introduced revolutionary products like Macbooks air, iPhone, iPad, and iPod that dictated the evolution of technology. so after the new products of Apple, competitors started producing comparable technologies.

Everything was going well, and then he was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the pancreas. Steve Jobs refused to obtain medical care from doctors and preferred natural techniques such as herbal juices, and vegan diets to cure his diseases, but his health was worsening. He resigned from Apple and he wasn’t able to work normally. Six weeks after his last day of work he died on October 5th, 2011.

His life is a great example for millions of how he used his failures as his opportunities to become successful. In the story of Steve Jobs, he never gave up and believed in himself to reach heights creating an image as no one other than him could do it.
