The hormonal change in your body will impact your skin, because this is the period where your estrogen decreases while the production level of elastin and collagen which are the proteins in the body acting as natural plumper to make the skin look healthy and glowing gets reduces. The skin gets regenerated slowly taking more than 48 days. The skin will produce less hyaluronic acid which is a sugar that draws in moisture.

Because of the less production of hyaluronic acid and collagen, the lines on the face will not be filled and that is why there will be more lines seen especially around the eyes, mouth, and forehead. Because of the slow regenerating of skin, the cells will stay, giving a dry texture. Exposure to the sun causes sun damage where UV rays of the sun have literally got under the skin by killing the skin cells.
