Sugar exfoliates the scalp and removes dead skin cells. Conditioners with sugar clean and moisturizes hair more effectively. Mixing sugar into shampoo made my hair softer and glossier. It buffs away dead skin cells from the scalp, so without dead skin cells, the conditioners in your shampoo and conditioner can moisturize your hair more thoroughly. Sugar will also easily dissolve and rinse out without leaving any residue on the hair.

Boil water and then add sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves and allow it cool. Add essential oils of your choice and pour them into a spray bottle. And then apply it to your hair.

Onion

Onion is one of the natural ingredients for hair although usually it is known for its strong smell. Researchers have found that onions have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties of onions that may help you to grow hair or enhance the appearance of the hair.  Onion water contains high levels of vitamins and minerals and there is one key component that has been proven to clear the scalp, restore hair follicles, and would minimize thinning over time.

It also contains antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties that would stimulate the scalp and promote blood circulation while strengthening the strands.

Applying onion to the hair helps to prevent premature graying with an antioxidant called catalase that is known to break down hydrogen peroxide found in hair follicles into water and oxygen. The separation can slow down the process of hair strands from being gray.

It also controls dandruff with several organic acids like pyruvic, glutamic, oxalic, malic, tartaric, citric, and fumaric acids.  They provide a chemical exfoliation gently on the scalp removing dandruff.  It helps to boost moisturizer and shine while bringing back shape to limp strands.

Take an onion and peel it. Then chop it into small pieces. Gather small bits of onion and blend them for a few minutes until they form a paste-like texture. Pour the mixture into a muslin cloth and squeeze the juice into a bowl. And then apply it.

Or else, you can make it by cutting the onion into medium-sized pieces and adding the bits to a pot of boiling water.  Wait ten minutes before straining the liquid into a bowl.

Beer

Beer is rich in vitamin B and it is fermented, so contains a good amount of yeast, that helps to plump up the strands. The vitamin B in the hair helps to keep the hair strong and shiny and the protein found in malt and hops repairs the damaged hair. Also, the sucrose and maltose sugars that are contained work on the hair cuticles to strengthen them and make them shiny.

Beer contains essential nutrients like zinc, folate, biotin, calcium, and vitamin D and all these elements are crucial for maintaining hair health. Lack of these nutrients may trigger androgenic alopecia and telogen effluvium and cause hair loss and hair damage.

A bottle of beer is all you need for hair that lacks shine. You can use the beer as a hair rinse, allowing it to sit and de-fizz for a couple of hours beforehand. Once you wash it out, you’ll be left with worthy hair.

First, wash your hair with shampoo and follow up with conditioner. Rinse your hair well. Then tilt the head backward and pour the beer on the hair and leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with water. Do this once a week.
